This site is dedicated to nothing but Hawaii.
Hawaii is like no other place on earth. One look out of your airplane window as you prepare for landing and you can see how special Hawaii is, with the deep blue ocean, the emerald valleys and golden sands.
Home to one of the world’s most active volcanoes and the largest sea mountain. Hawaii is the birthplace of modern surfing, the hula and excellent regional cuisine. It is home to the only royal palace on U.S. soil. Hawaii is one of the younger geological formations in the world and the newest state of the union. Hawaii’s most unique feature is its aloha spirit, the warmth of Hawaii’s people that complements the Islands’ perfect temperatures.
Breathe deep. Smell the fresh scent of the flowers in the air. Learn about the rich culture of the islands. Explore off-the-beaten-path destinations, from hidden beaches to small towns that you won’t find on a postcard. Surf, snorkel or kayak and earn your Hawaiian suntan. Don’t forget to go to an authentic Luau where you can get a realistic taste of Hawaiian culture and watch the art of the hula.
There are four major islands to visit in Hawaii: Kaua’i, Oahu, Maui, the island of Hawai’i (referred to as the Big Island), and two smaller islands, Molokai, and Lana’i. Each island has its own distinct personality and offers its own unique adventures, activities and sights. There are no resorts on Molokai but it makes a great day trip.
A quick reminder that Hawaii does not have any true All Inclusive Resorts. They do have some that say they are all inclusive but they are really meal plans but do not include things like water sports or unlimited alcohol. When they say they include Breakfast, be careful, if it is not a promotion the resort is running for a certain period, you can get breakfast included but your room cost will increase, so, in essence you are paying for your breakfast upfront, it is not free.
O'ahu
Sometimes called “The Gathering Place,” Oahu certainly lives up to that name. Oahu, the third largest Hawaiian island and the capitol of Hawaii, is home to the majority of Hawaii’s diverse population, a fusion of east and west cultures rooted in the values and traditions of the Native Hawaiian people. Home to the famous Waikiki Beach and Pearl Harbor, It’s this fundamental contrast between the ancient and the modern that makes discovering Oahu so enjoyable.
Hawai'i
Updated "NEWS" The volcano is still erupting but the part of the island that is affected is still only a 10 - 15 sq mile area South East of Hilo. We pray for those affected. The Hilo Airport is still open and the Kona area and the airport are open and as of now not affected at all. The Kona side of the island is where the majority of resorts are located. They have closed the Volcano National Park as a precaution. The Kona area and north are over 100 miles from the area affected.
Kaua'i
Kauai is Hawaii’s fourth largest island and is called the “Garden Isle,” for a reason that will become apparent once you arrive on the island. The oldest and northernmost island in the Hawaiian chain is covered in emerald valleys, sharp mountain spires and jagged cliffs, aged by time and the elements. Centuries of growth have formed tropical rainforests, beautiful rivers and cascading waterfalls. A large part of Kauai is only accessible by sea, air or foot, revealing views beyond your imagination.
